The best birthday ever! #aboutlastnight

So... my birthday was simply amazing! The outpouring of love through calls, birthday songs (in various keys of life, lol), videos, personal msgs, and of course FB (cuz it ain't official til its posted on FB! LOL!) filled my spirit yesterday and had me on the highest high! Or so I thought.... but before i get into that, I wanted to sincerely want to say thank you to everyone who took a moment to recognize me on my special day #aboutlastnight

Special thanks goes out to the brave soldiers who faced the Hawk dead on to come out and celebrate my birthday with me! A girl has to feel special when ppl come out in negative wind chills just to see you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

And special shout out to birthday girl, my cousin Tara Mingo! You make 50 look fabulous!

Well... back to last night...

As the evening came to a close, Stacy stopped everything and had the house lights come on. He had the birthday girls come to the stage, and told everyone that it was a moment for everyone to offer tributes to us... then he said that he would start first...

He gave me a very sweet card titled "to my wife"...

...and the best tasting cherry ring pop in a ring box!

Just when I thought life couldn't be any grander, Stacy managed to push my world over the edge! I've gotten used to his surprises, so I went with the flow...
